We are Winners through Our Lord Jesus Christ!

We are Winners Through Our Lord Jesus Christ!
We have to remind ourselves of this incredible truth when we feel defeated by the multiple assaults of the wicked one and his armies. Began by reading carefully what Paul wrote concerning the implications of Christ’s resurrection for us Believers.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Cor. 15:57-58)
We have the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! As a victorious people, we must be steadfast in our service and warfare for the glory of our Lord. Christ desires for every Believer to experience His power, triumph, and victory over the enemy and indwelling sin. By His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ overcame the world (John 16:33; Gal 6:14), the flesh (Romans 6:1-6; Galatians 2:20), and the devil (Ephesians 1:19-23). He is the all-time undisputed heavy-weight Champion of the universe for time and all eternity! Furthermore, we are winners in Him! He actually shares His victory with His people—we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us (Rom. 8:37). That is correct; we Believers do not fight for victory; we fight from victory--Christ's triumph at Calvary and Resurrection! The Spirit of Christ empowers us, by faith, to appropriate Christ's victory into our own experiences. Beloved, count His Victory as your victory! We do not have to live in defeat, because we are winners in Christ.
In addition, offer God thanks and appreciation for giving us this grand victory. Paul, the apostle, said, “thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory”. He clearly appreciated the gift our Lord secured for us through His cross and empty tomb. I personally believe what Paul felt towards God’s generosity should be rather contagious. Not in the form of mere sentimentalism, but robust and decisive worship of Him because we are gripped by the reality of what Christ actually gave to us. Having been imprisoned by our sins, we are now free! Before we were barely persisting under the weight of our guilt before holy God, we are now forgiven, loved, and embraced by God! Before Christ saved us we were lost without hope and undone, but because of the grace of our Lord Jesus we are saved, adopted, and seated in heavenly places! Why, every Believer can be thankful for these marvelous blessings. I submit that we have abundant reasons to offer up our thanksgiving praise unto the Most High God. Let it spread like wildfire to each of our lives erupting into volcanic exclamations roaring out praise to our Lord God. Thank You Lord, for the victory! Thank You, Father, for allowing us to stand in the winners’ circle. No longer defeated and weak, but empowered and transform on the basis of Christ’s cross and resurrection—real winners.
Finally, appreciation must move from our lips to our lives, and from our mouths to our motives. Beloved, live out the spirit of gratitude in the most authentic and practical ways by walking daily in victory over discouragement, frustration, promiscuity, adultery, nudity, depression, and anger. Rise up in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ (Romans 6) to conquer fears, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, pornography, fornication, witchcraft, rage, lying, and stealing! As David wiped Goliath in the strength and victory God gives, slay the giants of cheating, manipulation, gossip, idolatry, the love of money, jealousy, doubt, homosexuality, materialism, and lust. Do not allow them to control or intimidate you—you are in Christ! He is the supreme Winner. Beloved, since you are a winner in Christ, act like one every day! Again, in the Name of Jesus Christ, The Son of God, I say it is time to walk in the victory of our Lord. Remember always, we have the victory through Him.
