Wayne's Ministry Experience

MINISTRY: Evangelist emphasizing revival, Bible preaching, teaching, evangelism, and ministry training since 2012. I also anticipate NT church planting and stabilization (Acts 14:19-28) opportunities. Previously, I served as lead and associate pastor in four Independent Baptist Churches situated in U.S. Military communities in Germany for 18 years. This involved pastoral care, evangelizing, edifying, educating, equipping, and encouraging our armed forces, their families, African migrants/immigrants, and German nationals in Schweinfurt, Ansbach, Spangdahlem, and Ramstein, Germany. These were not chaplaincy ministries on these bases, but full service church ministries outside of the military installations. I was privileged to contribute to church planting endeavors (English speaking), to pilot an itinerant church workers’ training ministry in southern Germany, and to execute an itinerant preaching ministry—revivals, retreats, conferences, and pulpit supply.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS: my primary spiritual motivation is teaching with a strong secondary gift of preaching (Rom. 12:6, 7); developed other ministry skills featuring trainer, counselor, and administrator.

NATURAL ABILITIES: possess basic creative and artistic abilities including drawing, painting, and computer graphic designing.

Training duties included leading adult training classes (14 sessions), teaching one-on-one in a church setting (5 sessions), administering the training program, researching for curriculum development, determining training criteria, evaluating training requirements, reviewing training materials, and evaluating the results. Employed PowerPoint audio visual presentations, research workbooks, discussion strategies, and lecturing as delivery methods. These efforts increased the skills, knowledge, and abilities of the volunteers, and improved the overall quality of their classroom presentations. In addition, this training increased participant’s morale, confidence, and effectiveness, thus stimulating the overall education/maturation experience for the recipients (military families and individuals).

          Writer and Editor
Wrote and prepared lesson plans and training materials. Researched, compiled, wrote, re-scoped, established, and expanded the training curriculum to accommodate an enlarged emphasis on facilitators’ and teachers’ preparation throughout this region.
